Last summer we tried to grow sunflowers from seeds, hence, there were no sunflowers to be seen in our yard.

This summer through no effort on my part or the part of my children we have had several of these:

Fireworks and Friends...Finally

A while back, we went with some friends to our town square to see fireworks.  We were celebrating the Fourth of July.  Jeff took hundreds of pictures so I just chose a few to feature here.  ( I fully realize how tardy I am in posting these, but you were warned that it may be a while.)

A Keeper

Nathan:  Now I can draw by myself and sometimes I bathe myself and brush my teeth really, really good by myself.

Me:  I know.  What am I going to do now?

Nathan:  Keep me.  But when I'm all growded up you can't keep me.

Too true.  Just don't grow up too fast.
